I don’t know about you, but I’m SO excited about summer this year. Not only is the cold weather finally going away, COVID-19 restrictions are easing throughout the country. While it’s still important to follow expert medical advice, I’m sure even doctors are craving some extra vitamin D this summer season!

Whether you’re staying near home or taking an extended vacay, there are some things everyone needs to have a spectacular summer. If you’re prepping for the sunny season, then you’ve got to check out these hot Amazon summer picks!

Seven Sizzling Summer Must-Haves on Amazon

Safety First: Never Forget Sunscreen!

Even if you don’t consider yourself a “sun worshipper,” wearing high-quality sunscreen is a must. According to researchers at Johns Hopkins, you should be re-applying sunscreen roughly every two hours when you’re out and about. In case you were wondering, SPF 30 is best for daily use, but SPF 60 is ideal when you’re outside for extended periods.

Johns Hopkins scientists also said there’s no clear benefit for using organic vs. non-organic sunscreens. As long as you’re using a reputable brand, your sunscreen should be plenty strong.

I know, it may be a pain to remember to put sunscreen on, but it’s crucial for your skin health. If you’re super forgetful like me, why not make Siri your sunscreen savior? Simply set your phone’s timer for two hours after applying one layer of sunscreen. Ah, the wonders of technology!

Spread Out on the Sand...or Graze in the Grass!

Obviously, most summer activities take full advantage of the phenomenal outdoor temps. From outdoor picnics to brilliant beach days, summer is all about enjoying nature at its brightest. Wherever you choose to spend your summer days, you’re going to need a trusty towel to stake your territory!

When you’re looking for the ideal summer towel, be sure to research whether your product is water and sand-resistant. There are also a few lightweight towels that come with handles for easy transport. Having a durable blanket that’s easy to clean will undoubtedly improve your summertime experiences.

Keep Your Items Tidy In a Cute Tote Bag

As you’re gathering your beach gear, you may be wondering how to comfortably carry it with you. Not to fear; ultra-cute tote bags are here!

In addition to carrying your sandals, towels, and sunscreen, these durable tote bags are available in a ton of different styles. Whether you want some pretty pineapples or a more understated design, there’s something available online to suit your personality. Using one of these bags while on the beach is a must for organization.

Soak up That Sun With a Lounge Chair

'How do you recharge?' IG post

After all the stress of 2020, I think we all need to sit back, relax, and soak in some sun. While flopping on a towel is great on the beach, you probably prefer plopping in a comfy seat while at home. That’s why I’d recommend looking into a luxurious lounge chair for all of those at-home summer days.

Whenever you need a break from the worries of the day, melt for a few moments in your new lounge chair. You so deserve it!

Blitz Those Bananas in a New Blender

Sunbathing on its own is nice—but sunbathing with a smoothie is sublime! Forget paying ridiculous prices for Jamba Juice this summer. Instead, buy a high-quality blender so you can make your own delish frozen concoctions.

The great thing about using your own blender is you can add plenty of healthy greens into your kiddos’ smoothies. If you’ve got a picky eater at your home, then sneak a bit of kale into their strawberry smoothie. I bet they won’t know they’re getting a heaping dose of nutritious goodness!

Traveling Far This Summer? Grab a Suitcase Cube Organizer

As the weather gets warmer, it’s natural to get a case of the travel bug. But no matter how much you love exploring new destinations, packing luggage can be a pain. I’ve heard from some mommas who’ve put off traveling due to all the stress that’s involved.

Arguably, the easiest way to stay calm when planning a trip is to stay organized. That’s where packing cubes come in handy. These water-resistant luggage carriers have designated pouches for all of your clothes and accessories. This innovative design takes all of the guesswork out of sorting through your items.

Bring AMC to Your Home TV!

Who said you need to go to a drive-in theater to enjoy an outdoor film fest? With all the mini movie projectors now available, you can watch your favorite flicks in your own backyard! Trust me; even if you’re not a techie, it’s not that difficult to connect one of these remarkable units.

If you are going to enjoy an outdoor movie, be sure to place a bug repellent device nearby. Unfortunately, summer bugs are also big film buffs!

Never Forget: It’s Your Village That Makes Summer Shine!

While these products can help you have plenty of fun, the true magic of summer is all about spending quality time with your village. As the days get longer and warmer, it’s a perfect opportunity to share special moments with friends and family. Creating these beautiful memories is key to sustaining your village for a lifetime.
